  5. About Us

Through collaboration with the CASS Education Design Team, the Baldessin Education Studio is now available for self-service and supported production of professional-quality video or audio. The studio comprises two recording spaces: the Self-Recording Studio and the Multipurpose Space. The studio is situated within the Baldessin Precinct Building.

We also have a Lightboard Studio which is a joint initiative between Education Innovation and the ANU Centre for Energy Systems (ACES). Using transparent glass and dynamic visuals, the Lightboard allows presenters to face the camera while writing or drawing, enabling a natural, engaging teaching style that supports deep learning and audience connection. The location of the studio is Skaidrite Darius (CSIT).

The studio contains two areas and a range of specialised multimedia gear for the creation of educational multimedia content. Open to all teaching and general staff, the studio is supported by dedicated multimedia and education support colleagues who induct users into the studio and are on hand to support education content production.

This is definitely a great resource to have available for staff who would like to explore different approaches to delivering course content. I liked how fast the whole process was.
